This website is intended to bring you an educated information on real estate as the current market presents itself.

It is NOT supposed to dispense legal or financial advise on the matters presented here. Nor it is intended to do away with representation of a local real estate professional that most certainly will be best suited to guide you on your home buying quest in the location you are looking to buy.

This website is written from the perspective of the practices of real estate in the state of GEORGIA -- at the time it was written. Which is to say -- in real estate as in "real life" things do change from time to time. (If you are new to real estate, things have changed dramatically since September of 2008 and it is still unfolding).

Please keep in consideration that every state differs from the others and even within the same state things will differ as you move from one location to another.

Counties and municipalities will have their own local rules that will vastly affect the real estate ownership – and officials will do that with that very intent, that is, to make real estate different in the area of their jurisdiction.

Actually, it would be a good idea to inform yourself - before and after - you buy a property.

Tip O’Neill, legendary Speaker of the House once said: “All politics is local” – and I can assure you - “So is real estate!

Sometimes just on the other side of the street it is a another state, county, city an/or subdivision… And the rules may be completely different – and certainly will!

I try to make the information in my pages as accurate and current as possible but sometimes, mistakes may occur and/or it may happen that a particular piece of information will not apply for the area you are looking to buy a home.
