Best Website Host: SBI is second to none. SBI
offers many (dozens) all inclusive tools – each worth the regular fee of
hosting alone. Here are
some examples of tools you will not get from other
hosts.
Now that I got your attention, let me explain a little why this mini hub about web design and website hosting in an “all about home buying site.”
I consider that there are three great days in the history of the World Wide Web:
Day one: Al Gore invented the web – LOL
Day two: (the following) day I already had a presence on the WWW. (Circa 1998).
I call that period of the Net, the “World Wild West” – nobody new what we were doing and we all were trying to figure it out…
I had several false starts – including, but not limited to with the Yellow Pages that, up that point was “the” dominant preeminent vehicle for small and big business to reach out for new and old customers… If you were not in the Yellow Pages, you were a non business – pretty much what the WWW is today – if not only in the local markets.
YP wanted to
become the copyright owner of the website
was about to create :- ( I told things
were “wild” at the beginning.
That was a no go for me. At that point in time I thought YP was going to a
force to be reckoned with in the Internet age… They never were …And I wonder if
the “copyright grabbing” policy had anything to do with it.
In any case, I had a few other snags until I found a hosting company who did
not require taking over the copyright of my site.
They were OK, however all they provided me was “hosting.”
The following year I discovered another hosting company that still hosts my original website up to this day. Great people. My site has always been up 100% of the time (which was not a guarantee in the very beginning of the web). I am happy for them to have that small part of business… However here comes the mantra: “hosting” has been the only tool they provide me all these years!
There was and
still there is no “submission” to the
search engines (SE’s).
If I wanted my site to be found I had to pay 6 times as much what SBI now costs
me… AND the day I stopped paying, my site simple disappeared from the searches
all completely… AND even worse: you still could find me on the search results,
but you would click and it was a “dead link!” A depressing end result after about 10 years of constant work and
business expenditure to create a presence on the web.
If I were with SBI! since that time – or for an extend period in between – that site should be in the top 3% in Alexa ranking to day… Needless to say that I am not a happy camper for having lost a decade of work’s worth in my web presence.
Just for you to know that there many companies out there that are good doing “submissions” – but “enter at your own risk” – (a) it is costly and (b) as I wrote above – the day you stop paying them, they pull the plug and you start falling off the Net [pun not intended].
So no submissions = no traffic = “you are playing solitaire” because nobody will find you.
Note: Because of technical issues, I could not transfer my original site to SBI!
Due to my on
& offline branding of that part of my business I cannot shut it down all
completely as I receive a stead trickle of referrals to that business.
So I made it into a stand alone one-page with basic info about that business
and every step of the way there are links to another SBI! site I am developing.
(That aspect of my operation now takes a back seat to my real estate and “infoprenure” activities)
Day three: I was introduced to SBI!
It would be another decade until I was introduced SBI!
At that point I had built a few websites and rebuilt my original site a few times as well – probably it would be more correct to say that “I had it built” because although I could envision how I wanted the site[s] I was always either too busy or too afraid to tackle building it myself.
No matter it was a lot of money to make my vision to come to life and “build” those sites…
To recap, here are the four most basic components aspects of “WWW presence:” (1) Building (or designing) and (2) hosting.
These are the most basic things in the website building process.
Now the next two step would be (3) “traffic” – you can have the most exciting product or service to offer but without traffic nobody will find you and you will die of starvation.
Now, to generate traffic you need to (4) “submit” your site to the search engines and each one of them have their own “idiosyncrasies” of when, how and how often they want you to do the “submissions” …too little and you have just wasted your precious time… too much they cut you off for “spamming” …not to do it “you are dead”
I would like to spare you of many details – at least for now – because if you are new to web design it may be a bit boring reading things that are alien to you; the other hand if you have experience on this field you definitely will be bored. But you’d better believe me that both the beginners and advanced web designers can equally benefit from all the tools SBI brings to the table – as we soon will see.
Complete Package
SBI follows a unique pattern as it comes with a “complete package”
designed to be integrated and work
seamlessly.
Besides – there is a body of knowledge that has been out put by
Ken Evoy throughout the years as well as contribution of countless number of
SBI! users.
It is an incredible library meticulously indexed and archived that it is available at your finger tips and you can be searched at any moment you need it.
I seriously doubt that any even close to it exist any where else.
It all comes with it the price of your subscription of $300.00 a year OR 82 cents a day:
Please read “My Personal Testimonial” below with a detailed account about these two crucial components applied to this website.
So up to this point it is easy for you to see that SBI does offer a “complete package” – but wait it is not all!
SBI offers ways more:
I really think that is cool because I am the type of technical guy and I tend to forget it rather easily. So I am not at lose and I do not waste my time searching for it. And it prevents me from making some time consuming mistakes as well.
If you are not a tennis buff, I would like for you to make time in your schedule and watch a final of any of the “majors.” It is heartwarming to watch those young athletes “giving their all!” And that is what attracts me to sports where the players give “their all” – I happened to highlight tennis here…
Translating to “website site building” – if
you are “reasonably good” in what you do AND, in building your website, you
“give
your all” – people will respect you and they will come to like you. That
is the pre-selling: You now are close to their heart and they will remember how
nice you are and will remember of your services or goods next time they are in
the market for it.
On a personal note – I think that we all should proceed that way, not only in
business but also in life: “Treat others how you would like to treated” – “what
goes around, comes around!” Treat other with respect, dignity, equally and open
mind – life is bound to reward you!
Your life should reflect your business and your business should reflect your
life.
The tools highlighted here are no where near all the powerful system at your
disposal in the SBI! toolbox so you can build your website successfully.

I had some experience (read: bare minimum) when I first started with Solo Build It. However it is not in the same level of expertise of many people that I know or the others I came to know through reading their WWW story on Solo Build It posts.
And as I am going to present below there a lot of
people who came on board with impressive expertise of web designing.
As I pointed above there many aspects to make a truly successful website – some
of the basic elements are “submission” and “traffic generating.”
However I venture to say that the majority of Solo Build It user are people get started with “no clue what I am doing” level.
Even so they ended up being stellar performers once
they read the wealth of information that Solo Build It provides , they soon start to
navigate the cyberspace with proficiency of a pro, having fun AND making some
money in the process. Please take a look on these folks: They part of Solo Build It! call
WHAM – Work Home a Moms. But it like to call it Work Home Spouses – because it
also would work beautifully for “work at home DADs" as well!
